My first serious piercing project. I've been averse to pursuing something so painstaking and unavoidably time consuming in my designs, but there was something I didn't know- piercing is obsessive fun! I'm hooked.

cut from 20g. sterling sheet. The cutout "scraps" are now in another necklace that I hope to post soon. It's about 2.5 in long and 1.5 in high if I remember correctly. Took about 2.5 hours to cut, add another hour at least in the original designing and finishing. That's a vintage crystal bead with aurora borealis finish at the bottom.

I've gotten quite a variety of comments as to what this design resembles- Ignoring the title, what are your thoughts?
